Dorset Foraging Courses

Come join Robin Harford on a series of seasonally focused foraging walks through the landscape of Trill Farm.

On your foraging walk, you will be shown how to identify wild edible plants, as well as learn the different plant stories, their nutritional values, their folklore, mystery and history.

Please dress appropriately for the British weather, wellington boots are preferable to hiking boots as some areas can become exceptionally muddy.

Sunscreen, hats and definitely a set of waterproofs should all be packed when deemed appropriate and bring a bottle of water too. Feel free to bring a notepad and pen and/or a camera to document your finds on the day.

About Your Dorset Foraging Courses Guide

Robin Harford is a plant-based forager, ethnobotanical researcher, and wild food educator.

He has been teaching people about their local edible landscape since 2008.

His foraging courses were recently voted #1 by BBC Countryfile.

Robin travels extensively documenting and recording the traditional and local uses of wild food plants in indigenous cultures, and more recently his work has taken him to Africa, India, SE Asia and Europe.

He is a co-director of Plants & Healers International, a non-profit that connects people, plants and healers around the world.
